Garden lounge

Wilanow garden project. Living room on the garage ceiling (62 m²).

Most gardens at new multifamily housing developments are just a patch of grass on the ceiling of an underground garage. This was also the case with this development in Warsaw’s Wilanów district. However, our client had a different vision. He wanted to optically enlarge the space and create a full-fledged “garden living room” that would be a modern extension of the apartment’s living area.

Modern gazebo. Steel and fabric

We made the centerpiece of the garden a unique structure. The main resting area is a gazebo made of acid-resistant steel.

  • Design: We broke the severity of metal with soft fabrics. The gazebo is covered with fabric and equipped with airy curtains.
  • Privacy: In the dense development of Wilanów, intimacy is key. The curtains used effectively protect homeowners from the gaze of neighbors, creating a cozy retreat.

RGB light scenario

At night the garden gets a whole new face. We designed an advanced system of of low-voltage LED lighting with the ability to change the color (RGB controller). This allows the owner to create the mood himself – from cool white to emphasize modernity, to warm colors conducive to relaxation. The garden “lives” with light and color.

Geometry and vegetation

Plants here are a precise complement to the architecture.

  • Cut hedges: Geometric, molded blocks of greenery literally “cut into” the fabric of the exotic wood terrace, blurring the boundary between the floor and the garden.
  • Ornamental grasses: Tall grasses introduce movement and lightness. They emphasize the modern character of the establishment and provide a subtle counterpoint to steel and wood.
